We are a collective.
We are a collective of ideas, a collective of styles, and a family. We respect where each individual has come from and help them get to where they want to be through Jiu Jitsu.
What we teach?
We teach many areas of grappling from wrestling, judo, and BJJ. We offer GI classes but are primarily are known for our talents in No-Gi. We can teach you how to take your opponent to the ground and submit them through chokes and joint locks. We teach mindset, general combat strategy and practical self defense.
What does Komainu Mean?
Komainu, or Lion-dogs in English, are Japanese guardians who guard the entrances of Temples or inner shrines. These statues are meant to ward off evil spirits and usually come in pairs, one with an open mouth and one with a closed mouth symbolizing the beginning and end of all things.
